Le Milieu King A 500g<\/span>\u00a0CONDALAB<\/a><\/span>\u00a0suit la formule d\u00e9crite par King et al. pour la d\u00e9tection et la diff\u00e9renciation de\u00a0<\/span>Pseudomonas aeruginosa<\/span><\/em><\/a>\u00a0parmi les autres pseudomonas, sur la base de la production de pyocyanine<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>Pseudomonas aeruginosa<\/span><\/em> vit librement dans le sol et l’eau et constitue aujourd’hui un pathog\u00e8ne opportuniste \u00e9mergent d’importance clinique majeure. le Milieu King A 500g CONDALAB favorise la production de <\/span>pyocyanine<\/span>, un pigment bleu-vert qui s’oxyde en brun, soluble dans l’eau. Contrairement \u00e0 la fluoresc\u00e9ine, soluble dans le chloroforme. Le pigment diffuse dans tout le milieu et produit une couleur bleue visible. Pour confirmez la production de pyocyanine par extraction au chloroforme : vous ajoutez 2 ml de chloroforme \u00e0 un tube de milieu et vous agitez doucement pour extraire le pigment. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ensuite, la formule contient un digestat pancr\u00e9atique de g\u00e9latine qui fournit une riche source d’azote, ainsi que des vitamines, min\u00e9raux et acides amin\u00e9s essentiels \u00e0 la croissance. La peptone de g\u00e9latine reste pauvre en phosphore pour r\u00e9duire son effet inhibiteur sur la production de pyocyanine. Le sulfate de potassium et le chlorure de magn\u00e9sium apportent les cations n\u00e9cessaires pour activer et renforcer la production du pigment.
